Bus interlude

It’s 4.35am and we’re sat outside, waiting for our bus to Hue. The heavens have decided to open and the rain has been non-stop since this afternoon. Big, fat, heavy drops. And the mozzies have come out to play. Thankfully we are protected by the tin roof, but it would be nice if the owner decided to open his doors to let us in, as promised. Continue reading

Week 1 in Thailand

We spent a glorious weekend back home in London, catching up with family and friends and gorging on foods we had missed during our South American jaunt (cheese, mince pies, Sunday roast and Chinese take away). Soon enough, it was time to get back on a jet plane, this time heading East to the land of spices, temples and ping pong.

Iguazu Falls and our last few days in South America
