Weeks 1 and 2 of our trip were spent in Colombia – we couldn’t have asked for a better place to find our travellers’ feet. Colombia is the perfect mix of old and new, breath taking landscapes and fascinating history.

The adventure begins

After a full day’s travelling we have arrived at our first destination – Bogota, Colombia.

Having had limited sleep the night before and waking up at 4am to catch our first flight, we are both shattered. Day 1 has been fairly uneventful, other than it has quickly become clear that we best learn Spanish, fast. Language difficulties mixed with post flight exhaustion resulted in us being ripped off by our first taxi – rookie error. Hopefully no more of that thank you very much.
